It is hassle for us to remove double sided Adhesive Tape or double-sided tapes. We like to use them in our walls and glass as they reduce the chances of creating holes in the wall to hang or keep anything.
They are reliable, and can be removed from glass or any other place where it has been stuck to. It is a secure way to decorate your home without punching the walls or causing them any kind of problem. This feature specially has made these tapes very famous and a necessary for every household.
Though there is a very small problem with this double sided adhesive tape, yet that has not demeaned the usage and the popularity of it among all types of people. Double sided tapes are available in any general store near home. As mentioned earlier there is only a single fault of these tapes, which is these double sided tape when removed from walls or any wall like place can take out the paint or any work done on that particular place, giving it a disastrous look.
To remove such adhesive tapes you would need a few things like water, glass cleaner, Razor blade, lighter fluid. First you need to pull the tape off as much as you can without harming the wall or class. Then scrape off the residue tape as much as you can with the blade and also without much scratching the wall or the glass.
Then apply the water of lighter fluid and wait for a few minutes. Once the tape softens rub it carefully with a rag to remove the marks and the stickiness. Leave it to dry in case of walls and if it is glass then wash it with water or clean it with a glass cleaner. Leave the glass to dry so that no stain remains.
This is a simple procedure that one can follow and do while removing the tapes. Be it any material where it has been pasted earlier. It should be noted that while removing it, complete care should be taken and harshness should be avoided for good results.
